Murrieta Mesa scored 3 runs in the seventh inning to come back and beat Great Oak 4-3 Tuesday. It was the Rams first Southwestern league victory of the season with 7 games left to play.
In the bottom of the seventh, Murrieta was down 3-1. Kevin Gameros laced a single to get on base.Anthony Salcedo bounced back from a couple rough at-bats earlier and hit a double down the third base line. Coach JP Raineri sent Gameros home on a whim, hoping to make something happen. It worked.
