The California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section (CIF-SS) recently honored their top athletes with 24 local students selected not only for their achievements on the field or court, but for their performance in the classroom for the 2016-17 school year.
The student athletes were all invited to attend a breakfast hosted by the Citrus Belt Area Athletic Director’s Association, where they were honored for their outstanding seasons. Also invited were the students’ parents, as well as their athletic directors, coaches and school principals.

Earlier last week, the California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section honored their top athletes for the 2015-16 school year.

RIVERSIDE – The Citrus Belt Area Athletic Directors Association (CBAADA) held its annual breakfast at California Baptist University on Tuesday, May 12, honoring The Most Outstanding Athletes (male and female) from each of its 87 member schools throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The CBAADA issued twelve scholarships totaling $6,000, their largest number yet. They also honored 43 schools’ athletic directors and principals for earning the prestigious “Sportsmanship Award.”

The Citrus Belt Area Athletic Directors Association (CBAADA) honored 168 male and female athletes from its 84 member schools and fourteen member leagues this past Monday, May 12th, at an awards breakfast held at Cal Baptist University in Riverside.
Each school selected their Athlete of the Year on the basis of athletic achievement, academic excellence, school and community service, and character. Each Athlete of the Year received a certificate and a patch.
